Highland Hog Roasts was founded in 2007 by Ann & Karl Falconer. After buying some farmland at the foot hills of Glen Affric, in a small village called Cannich, they brought their savvy business idea to life. Rearing traditional breeds of pigs, they eventually found the perfect mix to create the most delicious, succulent pork with amazing crackling every time. With traceability and sustainability at the forefront of the business - Highland Hog Roasts was born. The business has now expanded to catering for events big and small, travelling all over Scotland to bring true "Highland Hog" to customers from all over the world. After working with his parents since he was 14, Darren joined the company full time in June 2022 along with wife, Danielle. Becoming a full family affair, Darren goes on the road with Ann to all outdoor events and weddings - letting Karl ride around on his tractor all day at the farm! Danielle heads up the office and doesn't let anyone else touch the calendar.
